Road Not Taken

With the recent sale of the two Muddy Rudders, MCHG has embarked on a new path.  We have chosen to focus all our energy building and improving our hotel operations. 

The restaurant business gave MCHG our beginnings with the Ground Rounds, JP Cranolies, and Muddy Rudder's.  We still operate restaurants as part of our hotels and plan to continue this.  Many of our current leaders began their careers in one of our 10 restaurants. 

We value and appreciate all our friends and colleagues along the way.  Thank you

We have chosen a new path. and as Robert Frost says in the poem below........"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."  We hope this new direction will do just that.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,


And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;



Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim

Because it was grassy and wanted wear,

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,



And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I marked the first for another day!
